A new BTS-related mobile game is officially in development. Netmarble revealed that this was made possible in collaboration with Big Hit Entertainment.
You can view the official concept art teaser of the upcoming game below:
The new game was revealed during the “BIG HIT CORPORATE BRIEFING WITH THE COMMUNITY.” Big Hit Entertainment CEO Bang Si-Hyuk showed off the concept art video during the event. He confirmed that they are preparing a new game project that makes use of the group's storytelling IP. He went on to say that the game is "set in a new genre, this new work will provide another encounter with the BTS Universe rendered through lush, emotion-filled art.”
We here at Player. One reported back in July that there was a new game in development using the BTS IP. At that time, Netmarble revealed it was looking for new team members to work on new content. In particular, these individuals needed to have an understanding of female-oriented games and BTS as an ARMY.
Once the new game is released, it is going to be the second BTS game from Netmarble. Back in June 2019, Netmarble launched BTS World. Released to both the iOS and Android platforms last June 26, BTS World is a simulation game that offer players two modes.
The first is BTS Story and require players to become the manager of BTS before that time they became a worldwide success. The mode is divided into different chapters with story elements and missions for each chapter needing to be completed before being able to move to the next one. This mode has three stages which are Story Stage, Mission Stage, and Cinematic Stage. The second mode is Another Story, and in this mode, the players need to become friends with the different BTS members and help them solve their problems in order to fulfill their dreams. This mode also has its own Story, Mission, and Cinematic Stages, all with different content.
Netmarble hopes to entertain audiences of all ages around the world by providing great mobile gaming experiences. Its lineup of mobile games include Lineage 2: Revolution, Blade & Soul Revolution, MARVEL Future Fight, BTS World, Everybody’s Marble, and Seven Knights.
