Takeda Nobutada was introduced in Naraka: Bladepoint back in May, but it was only until recently that the developers completed his skill set.

Takeda’s remaining skills, Mythic Grab: Takedown and Demonic Aid: Engulf are now available thanks to the latest update. Using Mythic Grab: Takedown will prompt Takeda to charge forward and slam the first enemy with a blue Focus strike to the ground, grabbing their weapon in the process. Takeda gains a huge damage reduction buff during the use of this skill, ensuring that he doesn’t sustain heavy damage until the move is fully executed.

Activating his ultimate, Demonic Aid: Engulf, enhances Furen with Demonic Force, turning Demonic Strike into Demonic Strike: Havoc. The empowered skill can be used three times before Furen gets sealed back inside Takeda again. Additionally, Takeda gains a huge chunk of health and armor if Demonic Strike: Havoc was able to cause damage to his foes.

The latest update for Naraka: Bladepoint also implemented in-game adjustments. For instance, the maximum number of players in solo mode for The Herald’s Trial, Quick Match, and Bot Mode has been reduced from 60 to 48.

Here are some of the other changes:

IN-GAME ADJUSTMENTS
  • Through the Fire
    • Increased the height of the island from the sea level in Through the Fire properly. Now players can use Grappling Hook to get on the island before falling into the sea. The error-tolerant rate was improved.
    • Uppercut Slash: Pendulum and Lethal Descent: Pendulum attack range are increased and now they can cause a strong knockback effect to Almighty General and Vajra (not working for the Vajra when it launches a vertical strike).
    • Enhanced the knockback effect of the pendulum to Vajra and Almighty General.
    • Equipment and items in Exquisite Vessel will upgrade as time goes by.
    • Reduced the default Grappling Hooks in the Bag from 18 to 3. More Grappling Hooks will spawn from the Exquisite Vessel.
  • Omni’s Nightmare
    • Evil-Ents can destroy Soul Lanterns to get more EXP, which will be shared proportionately among all Evil-Ents.
    • Fixed an issue where Evil-Ent’s level icon in the front of the health bar could be seen in the preparation phase.
    • Decreased Evil-Ents’ base Ranged Resist from 35% to 20%.
    • Fixed the issue where the stiff could be abnormal while Evil-Ents attack downed enemies.
  • Combat
    • Quick Counter: Now the Quick Counter used while charging after a combo has the same speed as the manual counter.
  • NEW: Video Volume Adjustment Feature
    • You could adjust the volume of the opening video and videos that display hero outfits and weapon skins.

Naraka: Bladepoint is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
