The Digital Companion for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is now available, priced at $9.99 and comes with a beautifully illustrated, voiced story journal and gives players a chance to explore Calradia from a new perspective. It's inspired by the travel books of Marco Polo and Ibn Battuta. It follows the journey of Asoios, a scribe tasked by Istiana with traveling through Calradia and reporting his observations to her.

The Digital Companion also brings a hand-drawn map of the game world with a lot of little details, along with a selection of concept art for every culture that allows players' own exploration as well. There are also pictures of the development and developers, which give a peek into the behind the scenes of the creative process.

Finally, it has a collection of the game’s music which players can listen to while exploring the content.

By the way, the Digital Companion does not include the game. The Digital Deluxe Edition, offered for $59.99, has the base game and the Digital Companion. During the holiday season, the PC version is available at 30% off while console versions are offered at 20% discount.
