With the next Monster Hunter game announced, Capcom has begun to promote the latest Nintendo 3DS game and the new features that come with it.

A recent Capcom TV segment -- via Siliconera -- featured Monster Hunter XX and revealed information on the new Brave Style, along with some gameplay footage.

Check out the Capcom TV segment below. The Monster Hunter XX segment starts around the 2:54:20.

The Brave Style increases its meter the more you hit monsters. This Style rewards continuous attacks for all those attack-happy Hunters. Weapons also have their own extra effects when they work in conjunction with the Brave Style as they fill up the Brave Gauge. The Bow and Arrow user shows how he’s able to shoot more while in a Brave State; however, it requires continuous hits to keep it up.

Certain weapons will increase the Hunter’s maneuverability and evasiveness while in the Brave State. Hunters will also have access to more powerful combos and special attacks.

The Brave Style also allows Hunters to charge a Great Sword while moving, shooting special bullets with the Light Bowgun while moving, and an extra charge levels for more damage with the Hammer.

When Monster Hunter XX was first announced, two new Styles were revealed to be in the game with Brave Style being one and a still unannounced Style being the other. We will update as soon as we learn more about the mystery Style.

Monster Hunter XX will release March 18, 2017 in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS.
