Mojang introduced the Minecraft Live event last year, which temporarily replaces the normal Minecraft Festival due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This online event helps developers show everything they have been working on and to engage with fans. The developers announced mob vote, Caves and Cliff Update, Global Build Championship, cross-play for Minecraft Dungeons , and new Howling Peaks DLC for Minecraft Dungeons in the 2020 live presentation.

Mojang’s Minecraft Live event will be held online this year as well and it will be streamed on Youtube and Minecraft Website. Viewers can watch this using any device, so they can relax and watch it even in bed or while doing other activities. The event will start on October 16 at 12 p.m. EDT. The developers haven’t teased anything yet, but we can expect new content, mob votes, and more like it did in the previous event.

“The guest list includes new and familiar faces from Mojang Studios, our amazing community, and a surprise appearance or two. On the menu you will find in-depth interviews, exciting reveals, a nail-biting vote, and puns galore! In lieu of gifts, please send positive vibes so the power doesn’t go out,” according to Minecraft.

The trailer released by Minecraft doesn’t show much. However, there is some stuff like the Quadramorphic Endervision, Pillager Raid-ed Sound, and a beacon. These items could be hints at what the next mobs or bosses will be. The event could also announce Update 1.18, which is the second part of the Caves and Cliff update. This update was split into two parts because it had lots of new content and made tons of changes to the game.

Minecraft is available for purchase on Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and PC.

So, what are your thoughts on Mojang’s Minecraft Live event coming back this year? Do you think Mojang will have huge updates in store for the players? Personally, I think the announcement is going to be massive and players will be getting lots of new content. Whatever your thoughts may be, let us know in the comments below.
