Pre-registration for the free-to-play Might & Magic Heroes: Era of Chaos is now open. This game was built from the ground up for the mobile platform. In Era of Chaos, players get to build an army of iconic heroes and units from the Might & Magic franchise, recreated in a unique art style.
Players that pre-register receive the exclusive hero skin Pirate Catherine along with the Legendary Pack once the game launches.
In Era of Chaos, players take control of forces in a new tactical RPG experience that can be played in either single-player or multiplayer modes. There is also a campaign that takes players through the events of fan-favorite Heroes of Might & Magic III. This campaign takes players back to the land of Erathia. King Roland Ironfist of Enroth has disappeared, leaving his wife Queen Catherine to rule alone. However, back in Erathia, Queen Catherine’s father King Gryphonheart has been assassinated. Without the King, the kingdom has fallen to the dark forces. With this, Queen Catherine makes the decision to return home seeking to rally the people of her homeland and lead them against the evil that has ravaged their nation.
While exciting, the campaign is one of the nine different game modes being offered by Era of Chaos. In addition to the campaign, there are also other single-player PvE modes and even the additional Underground levels. There is also a multiplayer mode, as well as guild mode, that can either have players competing against each other or working together.
One unique feature of Might & Magic: Era of Chaos is that players need to conduct close analysis of the battlefield and consider troop placement before deployment. Once the battle starts, troops immediately follow their behaviors, though players can still turn the tide of battle with heroes. As players progress, new heroes join the fight. These include the half-human, half-genie Yog and even the barbarian Shiva. Players can use new abilities while fans of the franchise get the chance to collect and enjoy their favorite characters in a beautiful new art style.
