Do you play Microsoft Flight Simulator in VR? If so, you’re going to be happy with the latest update, adding new VR controller-specific controls, like being able to switch between proxi and raycast modes, not previously available. VR controllers should now work when using the Legacy cockpit interaction system as well.

Aside from that, Update 1.21.18.0 also implemented plenty of bug fixes. For instance, there was an issue where you may experience abnormally high temperatures at FL450. This would result in flights being stopped immediately due to the turbines melting. Fortunately, this issue is fixed.

For improvements, the Live Weather clouds on the ground are now correctly displayed as fog. Moreover, fog and rain should correctly receive shadows from the clouds above. The game’s navigation system also uses the new AIRAC cycle 2113, so you get the most up-to-date aeronautical information once the patch is applied.
