Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is the latest Sony first-party title now available on PC. If you have pre-loaded the game, you can start playing it. If you haven’t, then wait for the download to finish before swinging into New York City.

PC Version

Nixxes Software, the developer of the PC version, has put a lot of effort into the port. The PC version comes with many improvements, so players can play Marvel’s Spider-Man with ultrawide display support. Several aspect ratios are supported, including 16:9, 16:10, 21:9, 32:9, and 48:9.

The game also supports new technologies like FSR 2.0, DLSS, and DLAA. Ray tracing reflections are improved to make the game look gorgeous. However, you should have a strong PC to see those real-time reflecting windows. You can check out our previous article to read the detailed system requirements.

Like any respectable PC port, this one also features customizable mouse and keyboard support; you can play the game with a controller as well. Sony’s own DualSense is supported, and players can use the PS5 controller to enjoy haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.

Another Spiderman Game on PC

PC players will have more Spiderman content to enjoy in the future. The spin-off game, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, is also in the works for the master race. The PC version will arrive in late 2022, unless it gets delayed, and oh boy, I hope it doesn’t.

Planned Sequel

Insomniac Games, the developer of both the main and the spin-off title, is currently developing a full-fledged sequel. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will arrive in 2023; however, details are scarce. Although, we do know that it’s PS5-exclusive, and Venom is in it. The rumored PS Showcase should provide additional information about the game.

A PC port hasn’t been confirmed, but given Sony’s history, I am hopeful that it’s a serious possibility in the future.
