A new event has been launched in Mario Kart Tour which has players choose between two titans. They can go with Donkey Kong and release their inner beast or side with Bowser and torch the other side. The event started May 4 and runs until May 18.

There may be some pressure in choosing which team to support but regardless of the winner, everyone is sure to have a good time racing. Of course, there’s also the Grand Stars that players can collect.

Team Rally Basics

For the Team Rally events, the rules are straightforward - the team with the most Team Token is declared the winner. Players need to choose between Team Bowser or Team Donkey Kong and use drivers assigned to that team.

In general, for the duration of the events, Team Tokens will be on the track replacing certain coins. Team Tokens are also received based on the score. These can then be used in the Token Shop to get some exciting items.

In terms of rewards, here's what’s up for grabs:

  • Players on top teams get 15 rubies, 3,000 coins, and a corresponding gold badge.
  • All other participants get 10 rubies, 1,500 coins, and a corresponding silver badge.
