Feral Interactive has announced The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame for macOS will be released this March.

As the name implies The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame is based on the movie of the same name, released in February 2019. Similar to the movie, the game features Bricksburg being invaded by alien monsters, resulting in Bricksburg turning into Apocalypseburg. Aliens have kidnapped some of the citizens and it is up to Emmet and his crew to save them, and the rest of the world as well.

Fans of the film will be glad to know that the game feature many of their favorite characters like Emmet, Lucy, and even LEGO Batman. Players also get to meet new characters like Rex Dangervest and General Mayhem.

The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame allows players to discover new worlds like the Systar System, while also getting the chance to visit many of the first film's well-known locations. To discover new items and areas, players need tap into their creative powers and build special LEGO objects. Building structures can result in getting additional missions and rewards.

Those who prefer to fight it out will be happy with the enhanced combat offered in The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame. There are many combos to learn for all the different characters.

The Windows and console version of The LEGO Movie 2 was developed by TT Games in partnership with The LEGO Group and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. These versions are already available in digital form on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch. A physical version for the Switch is expected to be released on March 4.

Released in February 8, The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part is a sequel to The Lego Movie. This time around, Emmet, Lucy, and the rest of the gang need to deal with the Duplo of the Systar System. New characters include General Sweet Mayhem and Rex Dangervest. The movie has already reported a worldwide gross of $137 million with a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 86 percent.
