Kingdoms , the randomly-generated open-world RPG, continuous to get several updates. And why shouldn’t it? It is in Early Access after all. The developer, Oreol, released a small update yesterday. It isn’t heavy on the content side but it does fix several bugs and minor performance issues.

The biggest change, however, is the addition of a new quest type "Go and Discover." A new quest called "Find closest undiscovered ruins for settlement leader" is added as well, so go open the game and play. The rest of the changes are just bug fixes, which you can read in detail below.

CHANGES

FIXES

  • Fixed issue when building a small smith big one was spawning instead.
  • Fixed issue when the player could fall underground when building a big smith.
  • Fixed issue when gold paid to AI for training wasn't added to their inventory and couldn't be looted back after killing.
  • Fixed issue when the player could build a settlement ignoring the "distance between settlements" parameter.
  • Fixed misprint in the text "I don't need your service anymore, N" where N should be the settler's name.
  • Fixed issue when the game showed no notification when quests were taken, executed, or finished.
  • Fixed issue when roads from the previous world could be loaded in the new world sometimes.
  • Fixed issue when "bring x to y" quest types sometimes stuck at finishing quest stage because of incorrect inventory calculations.
  • Fixed issue when pressing "shift" (speeding up camera movement) on the global map didn't work when the player was on a horse.
  • Some changes in animal behavior scripts to increase performance.
  • Shadows of the fire on the walls during sieges were removed to increase sieges performance.
  • Fixed issue when pressing on a quest in the journal didn't correctly mark quest objective sometimes.
