Killing Floor 2: New Update Adds Useful Quality-of-Life Improvements

Deep Blue Z Update Tripwire Interactive

Two huge quality-of-life improvements have been implemented in the Deep Blue Z update for Killing Floor 2, now available on all platforms.

Tripwire Interactive added a new keybind on PC that allows you to enable/disable the Friendly HUD with a single button. On consoles, you just open the comms dial and press the Right Trigger (RT). For those who don't know, the Friendly HUD displays your teammates' health bars, which is pretty useful if you're playing the Field Medic class.

Another useful feature introduced in the Deep Blue Z update is Item Search. With this, you can now search for specific items, weapon skins, and outfits in your inventory and in-game store.

This patch also brought balancing changes. The Field Medic, in particular, received a couple of nerfs. Now, the passive movement speed bonus the Field Medic gains per level has been reduced from 0.4% to 0.2%. Furthermore, the resistance cap from the Resilience skill has decreased to 30%.
