The release of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is still a few months away. But you won’t need to wait that long to get a feel of the game and see if it’s for you. There’s an Early Access Demo from June 16 to June 22.

However, it's only available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The playable modes are Online mode and Practice Mode with playable characters limited to Jonathan Joestar, Jotaro Kujo, Jolyne Cujoh, and DIO.

Bandai Namco shared in a post that once the demo expires, players would no longer be able to play the downloaded version. The studio also said that the contents of the demo have been edited and may differ from the final game.

The game is being developed by CyberConnect2 Co. and hopes to show it as an authentic adaptation, loyal to the captivating art style of Hirohiko Araki. Adding credence to that authenticity are the actors of the original Japanese VO.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R looks to become the biggest game ever in the franchise with a roster of 50 characters coming from every story arc. Players not only get the chance to experience popular battles from each story but even see heroes from different universes interact with each other for the first time.

What sets this game apart from other fighting games is its signature art style by Araki. His style is prominent when it comes to characters, stories, and settings. All of these combine to offer fun and fast-paced battles that should make Jojo fans happy. Fighting game fans are also going to love this game, especially with the robust roster of fighters and wide range of customization options.

The game will introduce a newly revamped and improved version of the fight system first introduced in 2013. It even ups the tempo with hit stops, dashes, intricate new combos, and the all-new “Support Attack” tag-team battle system.

Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is coming out September 1 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. The PC version, accessible through Steam, arrives on September 2.
