With the release of Luke Cage on Netflix, Iron Fist, the next Marvel Studios television series, will be one of the most anticipated releases coming to the streaming service. And the release date for the show has finally been revealed.

The official Iron Fist Twitter account released some interesting tidbits about the show but the biggest is the short teaser that reveals the March 17 release date. Take a look at the tweet below.

The Iron Fist Twitter account also released a brand new photo showing Daniel Rand (played by Finn Jones) in a fight with the tag line “open heart, closed fist.”

There’s not a lot of details surrounding the Iron Fist Netflix series but after the casting news there was a surprising short teaser at San Diego Comic-Con that actually saw Daniel Rand in action (sort of) and revealed the March 2017 release date window.

With a hard release date now announced, Marvel fans can expect more information to begin to trickle out as we get closer to March. Iron Fist ’s release date announcement comes days before a new trailer and information is expected at this year’s New York Comic Con.

The Struggle Is Not Real
If you’re looking for shock value, Iron Fist does not have it. Netflix and Marvel have turned an interesting superhero into a basic bro.
  • Colleen Wing is a delight
  • The last four episodes are significantly more entertaining
  • Problematic character development
  • Lackadaisical fight scenes
