Apple is slated to unveil its next iPhone at its event on Sept. 7. There have been a lot of rumors leading up to the new 2016 iPhone, including whether the new phone will even be called the iPhone 7. Now, the latest leak via Phone Radar shares the alleged price tag of the new phones:

iPhone 7

32 GB – ¥5288 ($790)

128 GB – ¥6088 ($910)

256 GB – ¥7088 ($1060)

iPhone 7 Plus

32 GB – ¥6088 ($910)

128 GB – ¥ 6888 ($1030)

256 GB – ¥7888 ($1180)

Don't panic – the USD values are based on the Chinese RMB exchange rates and do not reflect the actual U.S. price tag. The current 16GB iPhone 6s and 16 GB iPhone 6s Plus are listed on Apple China at ¥5288 and ¥6088, respectively, which suggests Apple did not raise the price for the new base 32GB iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The current 16GB iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are on sale for $649 and $749, respectively, in Apple’s U.S. stores.

So far, the most popular rumors suggest the new iPhone 7 will not feature a major redesign, but will lose the 3.5mm audio jack for a thinner, sleeker design. Inside, the new iPhone is expected to feature the Apple A10 chip, 2GB of RAM and at least 32 GB of storage . While the screen sizes will likely hold steady at 4.7-inch for the standard iPhone and 5.5-inch for the Plus, the new device may introduce 3D multi-touch. Finally, the camera setup could be similar to the outgoing iPhone 6s and 6s Plus also– a 12MP iSight rear-facing camera and a 5 MP FaceTime front-facing camera.

Stay tuned as we expect to learn more about the upcoming iPhone in the days ahead.
