Insurgency: Sandstorm received a massive update called Operation: Glasshouse that adds a new map, new weapons, and much more. This update also brings a new cosmetic set called Captive and Detainer, which players can grab from the store for free. Also, a new paid cosmetic DLC called the Glasshouse Set Bundle has been made available.

New Map

The developers introduced a new map called Prison. This map has a lot of narrow spaces, which makes it amazing for close-quarter combat. Beware of enemies camping in certain areas because the Prison features many areas to hide and peek enemies from. The map is accessible across several modes including Versus and Co-op modes.

New Weapons

This update also brings in two new Shotguns - the KSG and KS-23. Both shotguns can be customized in terms of optics, and barrels and they each come with unique iron sights if you aren’t interested in optics. Players can test out the weapon in the Firing Range before going into the fight.
