A new adventure coming soon. Square Enix

Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai is releasing digitally worldwide on September 28 for PC through Steam and Microsoft Store, as well as PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.

This role-playing game has players experience the story of the anime series Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai. It has stunning visuals and the combined art from anime and manga.

Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai offers two unique ways for enjoyable gameplay. The first is Story Mode which features the classic campaign progression. The second is Temple of Recollection which lets players enter an evolving dungeon that changes with each playthrough. Those able to defeat the monsters in the dungeon can earn rewards, including items that could make them stronger so they can enter the dungeon's deeper parts.

The game also has accessories called Bond Memories which can be collected and equipped. Once equipped, these can enhance the abilities and stats of the character. In addition, each time a Bond Memory is unlocked, scenes coming from the original manga are revealed. These Bond Memories can be powered up even further by conquering the Temple of Recollection.

Pre-orders for the game are now available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. The pre-orders for the Switch version will go live at a later date. Players who pre-purchase or pre-order the game get Dai's special outfit "Legendary Hero" along with the Bond Memory "The Hero's Tutor."

A digital deluxe edition is on offer and it has the full game and these bonus items:

  • Popp's special outfit "Legendary Mage"
  • Maam's special outfits "Legendary Priest" and "Legendary Martial Artist"
  • Hyunckel's special outfits "Legendary Swordsman" and "Legendary Warrior"

Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai was first published back in 1989, the popular manga series written by Riku Sanjo and illustrated by Koji Inada. In October 2020, a new anime adaptation was broadcast in Japan and on streaming platforms like Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Netflix for the global audience. Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai has won multiple awards including the Shogakukan Manga Award. It's also praised for its unique mix of adventure, action, and humor.
