How Fast Is The Flash In The ‘Justice League’ Trailer?

A lightning streak is the only trace The Flash leaves behind as he zooms around Central City at super speed. We haven’t seen too much of Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen in action, but in the latest Justice League trailer released at San Diego Comic Con, Batman pays Barry a visit. Hoping to recruit him to the Leauge, Batman throws a Batarang at Barry before he even admits he’s The Flash. Time slows down as Barry catches the Batarang. “So you’re fast,” Bruce says.

If you’ve ever wondered just how fast The Flash is, TheScienceOf.org has an answer. Using simple physics, the experts were able to figure out 1 second in Batman time is equal to 62 seconds in Flash time. This number only represents this one scene in the Justice League trailer, not how fast The Flash has the capacity to travel on any given day.

The scientists first figured out Batman’s Batarang throw lasted 21 seconds from Barry’s perspective, and .34 from Batman’s. Take a look at the math below:

This means one minute of our time is an hour for The Flash if he’s traveling at super speed.
