Trainers who participated in the Weakness Cup can now pick up the Mega Stones that were previously not available in Pokémon Sun and Moon.

Mega Stones for Ampharos, Altaria and the Legendary Pokémon Latios and Latias will now be available in Sun and Moon through the Mystery Gift function and by following a certain link in the Pokémon Global Link website.

If you’re looking to download the four new Mega Stones into your Pokémon Sun or Moon game, follow these steps.

Like the past Mega Stone prizes, trainers need to log in to their Pokémon Global Link accounts and follow this link to get the download code to receive the four Mega Stones for their Alola adventures.

If you can read your code, follow these steps to get your Mega Latios/Latias, Mega Altaria and Mega Ampharos into your Sun and Moon game.

Once you’ve received your account-specific code, just boot up your Pokémon Sun and Moon game and go to the MYSTERY GIFT tab. Select VIA CODE, input the code and all four Mega Stones will be sent to your game. Trainers need to use the special download code by Aug. 30 and redeem the Mega Stones in-game by Sept. 29 or they will miss out.

If you have a Mystery Gift already unclaimed in your Sun or Moon game, you’ll need to receive it before you can input the code for Latiosite, Latiasite, Ampharosite and Altariaite.

After the Mega Stones are sent to the game, just visit any PokeCenter and speak to the man in the orange and blue shirt. You’ll receive all four Mega Stones and they will be put into your bag.

The Pokémon Company is giving trainers every chance to receive these Mega Stones by participating in online tournaments. However, many of these Mega Stones will be distributed through a different code later on, so if you couldn’t participate in a particular tournament there’s still a chance to get the coveted item later on.

The only Mega Stones not available in Sun and Moon, at the time of this writing, are Mega Camerupt, Mega Lopunny, Mega Gallade, Mega Aggron, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Banette and Mega Diancie.

What are your favorite sets for all four Mega Pokémon? Which Mega Stone are you still hoping to get? Let us know in the comments section below.
