CSR Racing 2 has revealed its latest integration, inspired by the recently released film Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, which stars Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham. This was made possible through a partnership between Digital Platforms and Universal Games.
Under this collaboration, the characters from the film, including Luke Hobbs, Deckard Shaw, and Hattie Shaw, are all set to appear in CSR Racing 2. The appearances are going to be done through special events that give players the chance to race epic cars, like the Toyota Supra Aerotop, Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34 NISMO S-tune), Veilside Nissan Fairlady Z, Veilside Mazda RX-7.
The integration offers a 75-race ladder event that has been divided into five phases taking place between June 2019 and October 2019. These include Hobbs’ Redemption and Hattie’s Folly. Through these events, players get the opportunity to experience a wide range of new cars while choosing a side between Hobbs or Shaw.
The final portion of the event unlocks exclusive events for the Toyota Supra Aerotop, which include a 30-race ladder with a leaderboard.
CSR Racing 2 is the sequel to the free-to-play drag-racing game CSR Racing. In the game, players take on the role of a new racer that is looking to make a name in a deserted city that is ruled by five racing crews. The game features:
