New content coming soon. Arrowhead Game Studios

A new Premium Warbond is all set to be released for Helldivers 2. Dubbed as "," it's releasing on May 9. It's offering a lot of cool stuff that enemies of freedom are sure to be afraid of. Today, we'll take a look into what this upcoming Warbond has to offer.

The Firepower

Let's start with the firepower. After all, what's better than raining down freedom from above or for those courageous enough, dive head-first into combat. New weapons to be introduced include:

  • AR-61 Tenderizer
    • A real tentacle-tearer.
    • This high caliber assault rifle has excellent stopping power though magazine size is limited.
    • Be sure to make each shot count.
    • By the way, unpatriotic "banter" shots are not advisable.
  • SMG-72 Pummeler
    • Has a slower rate of fire compared to other SMGs.
    • The concussive rounds is sure to leave enemies dazed, confused, and still very ugly.
    • Remember that good things come to Helldivers who wait.
  • PLAS-101 Purifier
    • Set the trap, hold the trigger, let them charge at you, and then once they're close release the trigger.
    • The longer you hold the trigger, the bigger the damage.

In the game, players also get access to utilities and there's three of them set to be added. These are:

  • G-13 Incendiary Impact
    • It's not difficult to use since all you need to do is lob it at the enemy and run.
    • This thing detonates on impact and ignites the area in white phosphorus.
    • Be sure that you and the team aren't standing around when this happens.
  • P-113 Verdict
    • It's gas-operated, semi-automatic, and chambers what may be the largest centrefire cartridge of any lunpistol of its kind.
    • Most call it as the "Rapid Deliberation."
  • Motivational Shocks
    • Literally shocks Helldivers back into action after being hit and slowed by those sneaky and unjust attacks.
    • It doesn't do much when it comes to area effects like EMS strikes.

It won't be complete without armor. Arriving to the game are:

  • CW-36 Winter Warrior
    • Get to blend into snowy environments with perfect camouflage.
    • With this, the enemy won't see you coming until it's too late.
    • Passive boost – Serve-assisted.
  • CW-22 Kodiak
    • This has been thoroughly pressure-tested by patriotic volunteers as part of the Test Subjects for Super Earth Citizen Advancement Programme.
    • Passive boost – Fortified.
  • CW-4 Arctic Ranger
    • Comes with a utility belt that has handy pockets which can be filled with any number of things.

Capes are also included with this package and these include:

  • Dissident's Nightmare
    • Scientifically proven during extensive testing in Patriotic Rehabilitation Centers to be "terrifying" especially to dissent-afflicted citizens.
  • Pinions of Everlasting Glory
    • Ensures ascension to the immortal ranks of those enshrined in the Super Earth Digital Archive of Valorous Acts.
  • Order of the Venerated Ballot
    • Comes adorned with the insignia of the Order of the Venerated Ballot.
