Here's How to Play the New Bluebomb Rush Mode in PUBG: Battlegrounds

Bomb has been planted. Krafton

If you're in the mood for an electrifying experience, head over to PUBG: Battlegrounds. There's a new game mode where you can experience something beyond the standard battle royale. Bluebomb Rush offers 6v6 team battles on the exclusive Riviera map. Today, we're going to help you learn a new way to enjoy the game.

Attacking vs. Defending

Bluebomb Rush divides players into two teams with the first one assigned as the attacking team. Their goal is to install the Blue Zone Generator within the round time. To win, the team has to successfully install and defend the Blue Zone Generator until it detonates. Of course, there's also the option to defeat everyone in the opposing team.

The defending team, meanwhile, must prevent the attacking team from successfully installing the Blue Zone Generator. The defenders can try and dismantle the generator before it explodes, or defeat everyone in the opposing team. However, the latter option works only if the Blue Zone Generator is not yet installed. Otherwise, they still need to dismantle it even after eliminating the attackers.

All players have the chance to try both sides since the teams are allowed to switch at the beginning of the seventh round.

Claiming the Victory

So, what are the victory conditions? The first team to win seven rounds is declared victor of the match. If after 12 rounds there's still no winner, two bonus rounds are played with one team on the attacking side for the first extra round and then switching to the defending side for the second extra round. For each time a bonus round starts, all items and coins the players have in their possession are reset, and 7,000 coins are distributed.

If there is still a draw even after the bonus rounds, the team with the highest number of installation score is the winner. If this score is the same, then the team with the most kills is declared the winner of the match. If there is still a tie, then the match is finally considered as a draw.

Do you think you have what it takes to win in Bluebomb Rush? PUBG: Battlegrounds is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Android, and iOS.
