Wands at the ready, wizards, as a new month is here and that means new events in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. For August, it looks like the Calamity is surfacing memories of Diagon Alley and even new students at Hogwarts. It’s going to be more than a stroll down through memory lane.
For August, this is the Brilliant Event that wizards need to keep their eye on:
- First Year at Hogwarts Brilliant Event Part 1
- From: August 11 at 2:00 PM ET
- To: August 18 at 2:00 PM ET
- Feature:
- Help bring back Brilliant Foundables from Diagon Alley, which includes Goblins and even the Monster Book of Monsters.
- First Year at Hogwarts Brilliant Event Part 2
- From: August 25 at 2:00 PM ET
- To: September 1 at 2:00 PM ET
- Feature:
- Help return Brilliant Foundables from Hogwarts, which include Professor Sprout and Professor Flitwick.
For those who can’t wait to take part in events, the August Community Day is happening this Saturday, August 8. It’s going to be from 12:01 AM to 11:59 PM, local time. There’s going to be more difficult Wizarding Challenges, but the rewards are more than worth it.
Wizards should take note that this event has been adjusted to ensure that everyone can play it wherever they are. For this Community Day, players can look forward to these:
- Special Assignments focused on Wizarding Challenges of increasing difficulty, with rewards that include Spellbooks, Scrolls, high-level Runestones and Gold.
- Spell Energy now appears on the map and gives +5 Spell Energy.
- Wizarding Challenges now reward Spell Energy as well as increased Challenge XP.
- Guaranteed Runestone Reward fragments when using any Runestone in Forest Chamber IV and above in Wizarding Challenges.
Limited-Time Event Update
While all of these events are happening this August, there’s still time to be part of the July Bonus Fantastic Flora & Fauna Brilliant Event. This limited-time bonus event is set to end tomorrow, August 4 at 2:00 PM ET.
