Fallout 76 is releasing a new update tomorrow and it’s going to bring Halloween to Appalachia. Expect to see some hungry trick-or-treaters looking for sweets and maybe Challenge rewards. Even the Scorched is joining the fun. This event runs until November 2.
The Spooky Scorched
The Scorched may no longer be human but that hasn’t stopped them from having a certain amount of fondness when it comes to some holidays. For the duration of the event, players are sure to run into the “Spooky Scorched.” Each spawns as a legendary, which means bringing them down rewards a legendary item and even a piece of Mystery Candy. There’s also a
Spooky Treat Bag that contains rewards like consumables, ammo, and a chance to get Halloween-themed loot.
Trick or Treat
Beginning October 19, all players can head to the Atomic Shop and claim a free Spooky Candy Bowl. This can then be placed in the C.A.M.P. and be filled with Mystery Candy taken from Spooky Scorched or candies bought from train station vendors.
All throughout the event, all Dwellers get Daily Challenges to do trick or treat at others C.A.M.P.s. There are also Daily and Weekly Challenges to hand out treats from Spooky Candy Bowls.
Each of the Daily Challenges completed gives one of several possible rewards, including a consumable item, Perk Card Pack, Lunchbox, Repair Kit, or some S.C.O.R.E. Meanwhile, Weekly Challenges give candy that can reward S.C.O.R.E., rare crafting materials, or Halloween costumes. Players who finish both Weekly Challenges also get the new Popcorn Machine that can be placed in the C.A.M.P.
Bombs Drop Day
October isn’t just about Halloween. There’s also Bombs Drop Day, which serves as a grim reminder of how the world was changed on October 23. For this year, Bombs Drop Day is being commemorated with exciting offers.
Those who want to try out the game can get it at a 75% discount in selected digital stores. It not only includes the base game but also all free content updates that have been released so far. This offer is valid until October 26.
There are discounts as well on Atom Packs from October 19 to October 25. Here are the offers:
- 500 Atoms: 20% off the base price
