Last week the Winter Update for GTA Online introduced The Chop Shop. There was a lot to be excited about with this new content like a new business property and vehicle robbery missions which rotated on a weekly basis. There are even law enforcement vehicles which the criminal elite has the chance to get their hand on. However, that's not all it has to offer and today's we'll look deeper into that.

Let's start with the improvements done, a lot of which were requested by players through feedback. These include:

  • Vehicle Organization Option
    • Players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S can access the new Vehicle Organization option.
    • This can be found in the Manage Vehicles section of the Interaction Menu.
    • Through this option, players can move their vehicles between their owned garages without the need to enter properties or even drive them to each location.
  • Updated Interaction Menu
    • The Interaction Menu has been simplified and improved in such a way that similar options have been grouped together.
    • The Easy Way Out option has been moved from the Interaction Menu to the Online section of the Pause Menu.
  • Daily and Weekly Challenges
    • New Daily and Weekly Challenges can now be found under the Challenges section of the Interaction Menu.
  • Weapon Pickups
    • This feature has been updated with newer weapon options along with more natural placements around the map.
  • Custom Names
    • Players can now add Custom Names to each floor in the Eclipse Blvd Garage.

Creator Updates

New Creator tools and features have been introduced to make use of crafting different content in the game. These include:

  • New props and track-smoothing tools.
  • Ability to preview the set weather while in the Creator's Ambient Settings menu.
  • Catchup in Races can now be customized to be:
    • Classic
    • Advanced (with incremental drag applied to all players based on position)
    • Boosted (incremental speed given to players based on their position)
  • Players can now disable Catchup and Slipstream on specific checkpoints in Races.
    • This makes it less likely for racers to unintentionally overshoot or undershoot jumps.
  • A new option to disable boost at the start of a Race is now available.

GTA Online is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
