Sony fans have been starving for some PlayStation-related news. Thankfully, they won’t have to wait for long. Sony announced today that this year’s very first State of Play will take place soon.

The event will be streamed online on February 2 at 5 p.m. EST. It will be focused heavily on Gran Turismo 7. Over 30 minutes of PS5 footage and gameplay details will be shown. You can watch the show via Twitch or YouTube.

Sony has tons of games in development. However, don’t expect them to be shown during the upcoming event. It seems like only Gran Turismo 7 will be the heart of the upcoming stream.

I was hoping for an appearance of the long-rumored The Last of Us Remake or some info about the multiplayer title, The Last of Us Factions. But I don’t think that’s gonna happen now. Sony is probably waiting for E3 or another big event. However, info about some indie titles can be expected. Sifu is launching on February 8, so I'm expecting more information about it.

About the Game

Gran Turismo 7, the latest entry in the long-running franchise, will be launched on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on March 4. The PC version hasn’t been confirmed, but it was mentioned in last year’s Nvidia leak. So, there might be a chance for a PC release after its initial launch.

More PlayStation Exclusive Titles

Gran Turismo 7 isn’t the only PS-exclusive game coming in a few weeks. The highly anticipated sequel, Horizon Forbidden West, will arrive on PS4 and PS5 on February 18. God of War Ragnarok is also coming to both platforms later this year. So, this year is gonna be quite expensive for PlayStation owners.

Several editions of Gran Turismo 7 are available for purchase. You can decide which one suits you best by reading our previous article. A pre-order bonus is also available.
