Sony recently held a State of Play yesterday that revealed several games coming to the PlayStation platform. The event featured many amazing games, but the most important one was none other than God of War Ragnarök.

The Story Trailer revealed new enemies, amazing boss fights, and breathtaking environments. We saw short snippets of Kratos going head to head with Thor. The footage of two Valkyries beating the crap out of our favorite Ghost of Sparta was also present. The highlight for me was when a giant wolf chased the sun away. Nope, I am not kidding, that really happened. You can check out the complete trailer below.

About the Game

God of War Ragnarök launches on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on November 9. The Standard Edition for PS4 and PS5 will cost players $59.99 and $69.99, respectively. There is also a Digital Deluxe Edition and two Collector’s Editions, which you can read in great detail via our previous article.

Sony is not providing free PS4 to PS5 upgrades. If you want to upgrade to the PS5 version, you will need to spend $10.

New Controller

Sony knows that God of War is an important IP. The owner of PlayStation is also releasing a new Ragnarök-themed limited-edition controller. This stylish controller will be available starting November 9 and can be pre-ordered on September 27. Check out the above trailer to see how it looks.

Possible PC Port

As of this writing, God of War Ragnarök is not confirmed for Microsoft Windows. However, given that many PS-exclusive games are already coming to PC, we are sure it’s only a matter of time.

Meanwhile, PC players can look forward to Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and The Last of Us Part 1. Ports of Returnal and Sackboy: A Big Adventure were leaked as well. However, they have not been officially confirmed yet.
