Earlier this week, Microsoft announced that the sexy Lamborghini Centenario will be featured in the cover art of the next Xbox exclusive Forza title. Given the recent hype around the Italian supercar maker, Forza doubled down with an additional announcement for a new Lamborghini Super Trofeo race series for Forza Motorsport 6.
The latest Lamborghini Super Trofeo race series will feature two full seasons of Rivals and League events. The Lamborghini Rivals and League event will be held weekly every Tuesday and Friday, respectively. The first season will take place from March 2 through March 22. Season 2 will take place from March 22 to April 12.
The Tuesday Rivals events will feature the 2014 Lamborghini #18 DragonSpeed Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo while the Friday League event will star the 2014 Lamborghini #14 GMG Racing. Earn at least three bronze Variant Livery Gallardos or in Season 1 in order to unlock and earn the Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo, which will be your ticket into participating in Season 2.
The Season 2 of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo race series will use the 2015 Lamborghini #63 Squadra Corse Hurácan LP620-2 Super Trofeo in all events. Once again, players will be racing in three weeks of Rivals and League Events in order to collect liveried varients for the Huracan Super Trofeo. The ultimate prize will be a one-of-a-kind livery for the Suepr Trofeo Huracan that can only be earned by collecting all six Huracan variants.
