Just look at that
Just look at that Square Enix

Isn’t it great that we live in a time where we need an announcement video saying that they are going to announce something? Final Fantasy XV is going to be revealed at an event called “Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV” on March 30 at 7 p.m. PDT at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. FFXV will be coming out in 2016 on the PS4 and Xbox One.

The teaser for the event says there will be never-before-seen announcements and we will finally get a release date for the highly anticipated Japanese RPG. If you can’t attend the event live, you can catch the stream, hosted by Greg Miller and Tim Gettys of Kinda Funny, on YouTube and Twitch in multiple languages. The game’s game director, Hajime Tabata, has said that the game will be beatable in 50 hours , so otakus should finish in about a weekend.

I haven’t enjoyed any Final Fantasy games since seven, so I don’t really have high hopes for this. It looks way too much like X-2, which may be one of the worst RPGs I have ever come across, and I used to play Adventure Quest . I just want Square Enix to release Kingdom Hearts 3 . I managed to get through high school and college before getting more than 30 seconds of gameplay footage.

Final Fantasy XV

Combat, Plot, Characters Create Something Flawed, Beautiful, Fantastic
Despite it's flaws, Final Fantasy XV is a milestone achievement: not just for being completed, but for being completed with polish, aplomb and love.
  • Engaging main cast of characters
  • Fun, fast-paced combat
  • A massive, beautiful world to explore
  • The Regalia!
  • Continuous updates have addressed some shortcomings of the initial release
  • Major aspects of the story feel rushed or absent, particularly toward the end of the game
  • Stealth sequences feel out of place
