A new update for Fallout 76 is now available on PC via Bethesda.net, Microsoft Store, and Steam. It is also available on Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

The update focuses on adding new improvements and bug fixes to the game. For those who are interested to know about their respective download sizes, here they are:

  • PC (Bethesda.net): 2.2 GB
  • PC (Microsoft Store): 9.5 GB
  • PC (Steam): 2.3 GB
  • PlayStation: 8.45 GB
  • Xbox: 11.65 GB

What’s New in Update

Players may have noticed an issue where they could not earn Atom Rewards offered beyond Rank 100. This has been fixed in the update.

Take note that those affected by this bug must revisit the Season Scoreboard after completing the necessary Daily or Weekly challenges to claim those rewards.

Aside from that, those who are unsure how long the Carry Weight Booster’s effect lasts need not worry. The devs have added an accurate description, stating that the item’s effects will last for 30 minutes.

In terms of improvements, the Pip-Boy now displays the carry weight consistent with the player’s actual carry weight.

For Workshops, a snapping toggle is added. This feature allows players to use just one version of an object and it is up to them to decide whether they want to enable or disable snapping for it. This applies to Bar Sets, Weapon Racks, Fences, Wall Letters, and Light Boxes.
