Fallout 76 finally revealed its plans for this year. The 2021 Roadmap is divided into four seasons, each revealing what players can expect. In particular, the plans for this year are mainly designed to improve the gaming experience and introduce new ways to play the game.

Spring

So what’s the plan then? For starters, the game is set to launch its Spring update, which will introduce new features along with:

  • S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Loadouts
  • C.A.M.P. Slots
  • Mannequins
  • All-new Daily Ops expansion

For those who can’t wait for the update, those who already have Fallout 76 can go to the Bethesda.net launcher and then test these features on the PTS. The game is also introducing Season 4 that brings new rewards to the Scoreboard, from cosmetics to consumables and everything in-between.

Summer

Last year, players had the chance to meet The Appalachian Brotherhood of Steel. Everyone also witnessed a conflict between the ranks while discovering new obstacles. Steel Reign is arriving during this time and is the one to conclude The Brotherhood story. There are new quests, new locations, new NPCs, and of course, new rewards.

In Steel Reign, players need to pick a side and it’s important since the choices are set to change the Wasteland. To have higher chances of survival, players must craft some Legendary items with Legendary modules.

Fall

Worlds change once fall arrives. One thing that players can look forward to is the changes to Private Worlds. More information is set to be released near the release date. Additional changes coming to Daily Ops as well to offer players more ways to play.

Winter

When winter comes, players must remember to gear up with all new four-star Legendary Weapons and Armor. After exploring the world, players can get back home and relax with their CA.M.P. Pet.

Winter also marks the start of a new out-of-this-world event. In Public Challenge: Invaders from Beyond, players go against new enemies and in return, earn new rewards. Players can expect a new season event in “The Ritual!” There are cultists over in Point Pleasant performing a rather dangerous ritual. Players have to help these cultists and doing so will yield unique rewards.
