Collecting all seven Dragon Balls has always been a big part of the series’ lore and in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One that doesn’t change. Players can find and collect all seven Dragon Balls to make a wish to the mighty Shenron.

There are two ways to collect Dragon Balls in Xenoverse 2. One is easier but more random while the other takes time, patience a little.

The first method to collecting Dragon Balls is by fighting AI Time Patrols in Conton City. The AIs that want to fight can be found with a blue marker over their bodies.

Talk to them and they will challenge you to a fight. The frequency of the battles that show up in Conton City are random and it may take you some traveling around and time to find enough battles to receive Dragon Balls. Your first battle with Sanud outside of Orange Star High School will automatically grant you the Four-Star Dragon Ball.

Whether you’ll be gifted a Dragon Ball each time you win a fight with an AI is not known but after three fights we received three different Dragon Balls ,so happy hunting.

The second way to collect Dragon Balls in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is by completing Parallel Quest 4 in a certain way. We’ll go more in-depth to how to farm Dragon Balls using this method in the next section.

In the first Xenoverse game, there was a method to farming Dragon Balls that revolved around a particular Parallel Quest and it looks like Xenoverse 2 has a similar farming method.

In Xenoverse 2, enter Parallel Quest 4 (Prepare for the Attack of Saiyans) and quickly defeat the first three enemies.

A portal will open to the next area but DON’T ENTER IT. There will be three time patrollers hanging around. Go up to them and defeat them.

If you receive a notification that you got a KEY ITEM then complete the mission. If you don’t get the KEY ITEM pause and retry. This is not guaranteed, unfortunately, but it’s a fairly easy mission.
