Dr. Boom's Incredible Inventions Arriving to Hearthstone May 14

Ready to go Boom? Blizzard

It hasn't been long since Whizbang's Workshop opened up in Hearthstone. It appears that Dr. Boom has been tinkering away in the basement and working to release his own line of toys. He's doing all of these to prove that he is the greatest inventor and toymaker in Azeroth. He may have found success and now ready to share it with the world. Get ready to have your mind blown and experience Dr. Boom's Incredible Inventions.

Dr. Boom's Incredible Inventions is coming out on May 14 and brings with it 38 new cards. Specifically there's going to be 4 Legendary cards, 1 Epic card, 17 Rare cards, and 16 Common cards. The cards can either be opened in Whizbang's Workshop packs or purchased as a completed 72-card set. The Normal versions of the Mini-Set is available at $14.99 or 2000 Gold. Meanwhile, the all-Golden version of the Mini-Set can be purchased for $69.99 or 10,000 Gold. This version comes with a bonus Diamond Legendary card.

Master the Minis

The Puppetmaster Dorian is known to pull the strings on any minion. Each time players draw a minion, this master entertainer puts an extra 1-mana 1/1 version of it into their hand for a cheap burst of power. The Puppetmaster Dorian is also the bonus Diamond card included in the Golden Mini-Set.

New Keyword

They say that fun comes in all sizes. That said, Dr. Boom may have something for you. The new keyword "Gigantify" is sure to make the toys more awesome that they already are. Whenever players play a card with Gigantify, they get an 8-mana 8/8 copy added to their hand. Be sure to stock up on those Gigantic toys for that big and late-game boom.

By the way, it's not only about Gigantify. Druids are running rampant in Dr. Boom's Incredible Inventions with Overgrown Beanstalk and Toyrantus.

Hearthstone is a free-to-play online digital collectible card game released in 2014 and made available for the PC. It was later ported to mobile platforms via Android and iOS later in the same year. The game has players create a deck that's centered on an iconic hero along with minions, spells, and weapons. There's also a Battlegrounds mode where players get to pick from random selections of minions and build their warband as the game progresses.
