Get to see intense matches. Beyond the Summit

Playoff matches are well underway in the Dota 2 Summit 13 Online. For the Americas and Southeast Asia regions, teams have already reached the Upper Bracket Finals. The Europe & CIS division, meanwhile, has just started their Playoffs.

Americas

In this division, it’s no surprise that Quincy Crew managed to get a spot in the Upper Bracket Final. The team ended the Group Stage by getting 17 wins on 18 games. In the first round of the Upper Bracket they pretty much dominated Thunder Predator and swept them 2–0.

The other spot went to Team Zero, who also dominated and swept 4 Zoomers. In case you were wondering, Zero is the new team of Jacky "EternaLEnVy" Mao. We have covered a lot about EternalEnVy's recent moves in the Dota 2 scene, and you can read one of the stories here.

So far, three additional teams have been eliminated from the tournament resulting from losses in the Playoffs. These are Team Brasil, catJAMMERS, and 4 Zoomers. A game is scheduled today pitting Thunder Predator against beastcoast, with the loser also facing elimination.

Southeast Asia

Over at Southeast Asia, it’s Among Us preparing to face off against Motivate.Trust Gaming in the Upper Bracket Final. It will be interesting to see how this new version of Among Us will fare against Motivate.Trust.

In the Lower Bracket it’s TNC Predator versus BOOM Esports. During ESL One Thailand 2020, TNC got the upper hand on BOOM twice. However, at the BTS Pro Season 3 it was BOOM that dropped TNC to the Lower Bracket, resulting in the latter’s elimination. It will definitely be interesting to see who gets the upper hand in this tournament.

Europe/CIS

In this division, mudgolems and Khan ended the Group Stage on top. Joining them from the Group Stage to the Playoffs are teams Yellow Submarine, Live to Win, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and Brame. Unlike in the other divisions, the Playoffs here are single elimination.

The first set of matches have already been played, and in one, Vikin.gg eliminated Live to Win. LtW managed to get a hard-earned win in the first game. However, that was all they had to offer as Vikin.gg pretty much led the next two games and never looked back.

In the second match, despite a strong performance in the Group Stage, mudgolems got eliminated by Ninjas in Pyjamas. In the first game, mudgolems managed to grab a win against NiP. In the second game, NiP fought back and showed mudgolems what they are all about. This led to a decisive third game. While mudgolems initially had the lead, NiP managed to snatch the victory away and move to the next round.
