The Division 2 revealed that Season 2 of Warlords of New York is almost coming to an end. As the final weekly events are almost here, it’s time to take a look at some of the things that are going to end along with the season. After that we also take a look at the current state of the game.

Manhunt Update

Starting August 26, all five manhunt targets are going to be available. Just in case you forgot, these are Termite, Luna, Huntsman, Titan, and the Prime Target, which is Hornet. Each target was initially revealed one at a time throughout the course of the Season. However, with the end almost here, players can now hunt all of them. Just remember that in order to take down Hornet, you need to first eliminate the four other Rogue Agents.

Once the Hornet has been brought down, you’re going to get the Repair Trap skill variant as a reward. This is going to be a permanent addition to your Arsenal. It’s worth noting that this skill variant can only be obtained through the Manhunt.

For those who do miss the chance to get this one during Season 2, not to worry as this unique skill variant is set to be made available through different methods in the near future.

Season 2 Rewards

When Season 2 ends, it means that earning Seasonal Levels is going to end as well. Once the season does end, that also means the chances to earn rewards like Vile Mask and Mantis Exotics along with Named Items and Caches are also going to end. For those who miss out on the chance to get these, don’t worry too much since they can be obtained through normal gameplay once the Season ends.

However, cosmetic rewards like the Eclipse Outfit, gear dyes, weapon skins, and unique patches are probably not going to be available through other sources.

Instant Unlocks

Season level Instant Unlocks are also going to be available via the in-game store. This lets players immediately unlock a Season Level and get the corresponding rewards. The idea behind this is that it serves as a catch-up mechanic to allow players to be able to reach the level they want.

This is available for 100 Premium Credits per level, and it rewards players with SHD Level EXP, Event Points, and any items that are not connected directly to Seasonal Progression.

State of the Game

The Division 2 is preparing to release Title Update 11, which is going to introduce Appearance Mods. You can read more about that here.

On August 26, the game received Rainbow Loot Improvements. When September 2 rolls around, The Division 2 is going to launch Title Update 11 PTS, which will introduce a new PvE mode, and start Season 3.
