We're almost halfway into 2023 and there's no question that a lot has happened in Disney Dreamlight Valley. There was the introduction of The Lion King Realm and of course, the celebration of Disney's 100th anniversary. There's still much time left and Gameloft hinted at what players can expect in the next few months via an updated roadmap.
Let's start with this month which will reveal the secret of The Forgetting. June will also let decorating dreams come true with the Touch of Magic furniture and mannequins. When summer rolls in, a new villager will race her way to the Valley and it's none other than Vanellope von Schweetz. She'll be bringing with her a new feature and in-game prizes.
By September, a new realm is set to open and welcome new friends to the game; expect some surprises as well. It goes without saying that when these updates come out, they won't just include new content and new features but also game improvements.
By late 2023, the mystery of The Forgetting and The Forgotten will come full circle in The Remembering, the new chapter for the game. Not much is revealed but the roadmap shows upcoming new characters, new frontiers, and a new royal tool. The biggest feature, however, is the hint about a possible multiplayer experience.
The team at Gameloft also revealed that for the rest of 2023, there will be Star Paths. They shared that ever since the game was launched, many players have been telling them their most-wanted themes and these Star Paths are sure to make everyone happy. In addition, players can look forward to The Wonder of Pixar where there's a spotlight on more Pixart films. Watch out for the Halloween season as well since it's going to bring darkness to the Valley.
Disney Dreamlight Valley is a life-sim with adventure mechanics rich with quests and exploration. There are also engaging activities featuring Disney and Pixar friends, both old and new.
