"Grand Theft Auto 6" has once again become a major talking point after comments from Jay Klaitz, the actor best known for voicing Lester in "Grand Theft Auto 5."
In a recent interview, Klaitz suggested that additional delays could ultimately benefit the game by giving developers more time to refine the final experience.
Rockstar's Focus on Polished Development

Klaitz told Eldorado that extended development cycles often lead to higher-quality results, particularly when creative teams have the freedom to polish details.
Based on his experience working with Rockstar's performance direction team, he believes more time could significantly improve the final product.
Rockstar Games has already shifted the release timeline for "Grand Theft Auto 6" multiple times, with the current expected launch set for November 19, 2026. The studio has stated that the additional development time is intended to ensure the game meets its long-standing quality standards.
While marketing is expected to increase as the release approaches, Klaitz's remarks resonate with some fans who want a high-quality game.
After all, a rushed title won't impress anyone. This could also mean that sometimes, delays are not always bad, since this means that the developers have a lot of time to improve the overall game quality.
'GTA 6' Price Tag is Debatable
Klaitz also addressed speculation around the possible price of "Grand Theft Auto 6." Some industry analysts have suggested the game could launch between $80 and $100, reflecting rising development costs and shifting market trends.
"It could have been another month or another five months or six months or whatever. It's going to be cool," Klaitz said in a report by GamesRadar.
He expressed concern about affordability, stating that he would not personally be willing to pay $100 for a game. At the same time, he acknowledged that modern AAA development budgets may justify higher pricing in some cases.
The Value Argument in Modern AAA Games
Despite his concerns, Klaitz has previously suggested that "Grand Theft Auto 6" could justify a premium price due to its scale, including its expansive open world and revamped online components. These features may give players the equivalent of multiple experiences within a single title.
Industry analysts also note that, when adjusted for inflation, past entries in the "Grand Theft Auto" series were effectively more expensive than current standard pricing.
Setting Inspired by a Fictional Florida
According to GameSpot, Klaitz also commented on the game's setting, Leonida, a fictional version of Florida. He speculated that "GTA 6" could include satirical elements such as a theme park inspired by real-world attractions, continuing the franchise's tradition of social parody and world-building.
