'Destiny 3' Leak: Now in 'Early Development Stage'

A trusted leaker for all things Bungie, Colony Deaks, has shared that "Destiny 3" is now in "extremely early development" from the company and has greatly excited fans.

The leaker assures the fans following their account that they will keep them updated on any information related to "Destiny 3" in the coming months, saying that they are waiting for more information to arrive.

Moreover, they would also wait for the development to take shape on a larger scale, one that may finally lead to Bungie officially confirming the development behind the game.

With that said, there are still no intricate details shared by the leaker on what to expect from "Destiny 3." It should also be noted that Bungie has made no confirmations whatsoever regarding the game.

Bungie May Be Moving on From 'Destiny 2'

"Destiny 2" has been the mainstay game of the studio for several years now, and it has since become the face of the franchise for around eight years already. The game may have launched in 2017 and peaked around its early years, but it saw significant numbers, including returning players, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world.

Many online games became popular during this time, and Bungie's "Destiny 2" also enjoyed the influx of players looking for online games to bond with their friends, family, or colleagues. Bungie has continuously updated "Destiny 2's" experiences, with the company also releasing various DLCs that helped expand the game.

However, Bungie saw a decline in "Destiny 2's" player base and reviews in the market in its recent DLC releases and updates, with the company facing mixed to bad reviews on channels. This prompted many to ask about the possibility of developing "Destiny 3" and give fans a new experience on the platform that does not build off its latest-gen title.
