This week’s Trials of Osiris is just around the corner and Bungie has released Hotfix 3.3.0.3 for Destiny 2 to add interesting changes to the game’s pinnacle PvP event. It also implements some bug fixes, so let’s dive right in, shall we?

Trials Changes

What’s new in this week’s Trials? Well, one huge change is that Special Ammo will no longer be refreshed upon resurrection. This means weapons like Shotguns or Snipers won’t be reloaded with full ammo when your teammates resurrect you.

Now, getting enough points to buy some really cool gear from Saint-14 is hard, and there may have been times where you’ve bought something by accident. This is quite a frustrating experience, especially if you’ve spent a lot of time grinding Trials of Osiris for points. The good news is that the devs have implemented a hold-to-purchase functionality to prevent this from ever happening again. This only applies to Saint-14, don't forget.

Lastly, any weapon rewards you receive from Trials Reputation on Saint-14 will have their Masterwork Slots already active. This makes sense, considering that gaining enough reputation is not an easy feat.

Fixes

Those who are wondering why the Proving Grounds Strike is missing on Nessus need not worry after updating the game. You see, there was an issue where the said Strike would not appear if you’ve failed to unlock it before Season 15. This is not intended and has been resolved in the latest patch.

Also, you may have experienced a client crash when using a certain combination of armor mods before. This should no longer be a problem now.
