Bungie deployed a new patch for Destiny 2 not long ago. Update 4.1.5 implements some weapon balancing changes and bug fixes.

Airborne effectiveness is a new stat in Destiny 2 introduced in Season 17. That said, the airborne penalties for all primary weapons are reduced in Update 4.1.5. Players who have a low AE have reduced airborne accuracy penalty by 20% to 40% depending on the primary weapon type.

For players who have mid and high AE stat, the auto-aim or bullet bending penalty is decreased by 20%. Furthermore, airborne magnetism or reticle stickiness penalty for controllers is reduced by a good 40%.

In terms of balancing changes, the body shot damage and crit damage for precision hand cannons are increased to 40 and 60, respectively. This translates to a kill when the player lands two crits and two body shots against opposing Guardians.

On the other hand, those who prefer using auto rifles will be happy to know that body shot damage is increased to 20. Although the precision multiplier is reduced slightly to 1.5, crit damage for auto rifles is still at 30.

Bug fixes have been implemented in Update 4.1.5 as well. Some of them can be found below:
