Days Gone updates are not as regular and influential as Horizon Zero Dawn ’s update, however, that’s a good thing. Unlike Horizon, Days Gone PC port was impressive. While it was not without fault, it didn’t have any major issues.

Game developer Bend Studio has released another patch to address some minor issues. Patch 1.05 fixed only a couple of things but its size is around 10 GB. The annoying motion blur trails that occurred at the back of the bike when riding are fixed. Players have been complaining about this issue for a while now.

Mouse, keyboard, and gamepad input will no longer conflict with each other when used together with rolling and sprinting actions. Players can now interact properly with vendors and the issue surrounding bounties and meat has been addressed. UI elements will now align properly in 16:10 format. The patch also fixed some crash issues.

Days Gone may not have received a critical reception from either fans or critics, yet its PC release has been good. The open-world zombie game is currently sitting on 92% positive rating on Steam, whereas Horizon Zero Dawn is only on 81% positive rating. This might not be a fair comparison as most of the negative review on Zero Dawn is due to technical issues, which were later patched out.

Days Gone is also available on PlayStation 4 and can be played on PS5 via backward compatibility.
