The Cycle: Frontier Creature Shared Senses Improved; Stash Size Upgrades Now Accessible at Earlier Levels

Patch 3.3.0 Yager Development Studio

The PvPvE online shooter The Cycle: Frontier has a new update that you should check out. Patch 3.3.0 implemented some changes to enemy AI.

Changes to Shared Senses

According to the developers, some creatures in The Cycle: Frontier have "Shared Senses," a mechanic where alerting one enemy will also alert others nearby. That said, there are tweaks as to how Shared Senses now work in Patch 3.3.0.

Basically, shared senses work much like the original. However, a creature alerted by another creature's shared senses will no longer trigger its own shared senses. This means that shared senses will only alert one nearby enemy and will no longer branch out to other creatures in the area, thus preventing a chain of monster aggro.

Take note that creatures can still be alerted by the fighting you've caused, which in turn, will activate another creature through shared senses.

Stash Size Upgrades

The developers addressed another common problem in The Cycle: Frontier, stash space. They understand that you'll hoard items at the beginning, mainly for upgrades or whatnot. For this reason, they've reshuffled some values so that upgrades that increase your stash size significantly will now be available much earlier in the Upgrade Tree.
