CRSED: F.O.A.D Update Adds Support for Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR

CRSED: F.O.A.D Steam

CRSED: F.O.A.D is an MMO shooter that combines realistic weaponry with mystical powers. Developed by Darkflow Software, this game will have you choose between seven different champions, each having unique superpowers.

Having said that, Update is a pretty hefty one, not only when it comes to the changes and bug fixes but also in its support for new features.

The biggest features from the latest update include support for Nvidia DLSS and AMD Fidelity FX Super Resolution (FSR) for PC. Both are upscaling algorithms designed to improve picture quality without sacrificing performance. If anything, these technologies may help boost FPS.

Certain parameters are in play, so when enabled, these technologies will not result in anything weird. Ghosting effects have been reduced in DLSS, for example.

For in-game improvements, the amount of loot that you can get from some missions has been increased. Camera shake has been added whenever you smash windows with your body. This is a welcome change for a more realistic feel.

Aside from that, you can now set the camera position in third-person view in relation to your character. You can set key assignments for this in the settings.

  • Now meteor shower areas during the ritual can move
  • Flamethrowers can now destroy tombstones and some other objects
