CrossfireX: First Major Update Adds New Weapons and Limited-time Event Pass

CrossfireX Xbox

The first major update for CrossfireX is here and it adds new weapons, new features, and a limited-time event pass.

CrossfireX is a fast-paced, first-person shooter where you can choose between the Global Risk or Blacklist Mercenaries when playing the campaign. This means you can discover the backstory of each side. You can play with your buddies as well since the game has multiplayer modes.

Anyway, the limited-time event pass gives you 25 tiers of rewards, which include up to 25,000 GP, weapon skins, and a unique weapon accessory.

Two maps have also been added to the event playlist. The first is Invasion: Spectre Mode and here, you’ll face a team of Spectres in a ruined city. Spectres are very adept in covert operations, so you’d want to take notice of the motion-activated lights that can alert you when they’re nearby.

The second map is Submarine: Team Deathmatch. This team deathmatch-style map takes place in a sinking submarine where your knife skills will be put to the test. What’s interesting here is that the submarine will start to tilt slowly as the match progresses, so be sure to adapt to your surroundings if you want to win.

The following silencer attachment skins have been added:

  • To address the difficulties surrounding the aim sensitivity, several customization options have been added to the game:
  • Expanded analog stick sensitivity range for Stick and Vertical sensitivity, ADS (Aiming Down Sights), and ADS Vertical sensitivity
  • Dead Zone options have been added for both left and right analog sticks
  • Aim Response Curve Type options have been added: Standard, Linear, and Dynamic
  • "Set to Default" feature added for each option category
  • Weapon statistics have been added for each weapon, viewable in the Loadout screen
    • Includes recoil patterns for both Modern and Classic mode
  • Enhancements to the controls have been added to better handle situations with low aim acceleration
  • An AFK kick timer has been implemented to remove users who are inactive during a match
  • Premium Missions have been removed from the game. Users who purchased the mission will still be able to complete it
  • Reduced the duration that eliminated characters would remain on the ground for. This has been implemented to reduce errors that would sometimes occur related to game physics
  • Improved dynamic resolution optimization for each type of Xbox device

CrossfireX’s first major update is available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
