Nintendo announced that it is offering something special for Switch Online members. How special? The full standard edition of Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is playable for free! It's not a long-term thing though, as the offer is only available until January 6 at 2:59 AM ET.
This promotion should be a good opportunity for those who aren’t yet sure whether to get this game. If you’re one of those new to Game Trials, keep these in mind:
- Players can get ahead of the curve by downloading the Game Trial onto their system even if the trial isn’t active yet.
- For those who decide to buy the full version of the game at a later date, their saves are going to be transferred over.
- Players can buy the Standard Edition or Nitros Oxide Edition.
CTR Nitro-Fueled
Like the original Crash Team Racing, the Nitro-Fueled version is also a racing game that features characters from the Crash Bandicoot franchise. To reach the finish line, players need to avoid obstacles, perform boosts, and use different power-ups scattered around the track. There are 40 courses, lots of characters, and customizable vehicles. Players can also have fun with the different game modes.
Nintendo is offering both versions of the game at 50% off. The offer is valid until January 13 at 2:59 AM ET. Here’s what each edition offers:
