Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War: It's Possible to Prestige With Zero Player Kills

As a game built on encouraging players to kill each other, Call of Duty is not a game where pacifism gets you anywhere. Or, that's what we thought until a player managed to achieve a Prestige without ever killing anyone.

While most people stay true to how the game should be played, there are some who admittedly take a different approach. The majority of players worry about their KD, camos, or weapon attachment, except for one. This one player only cares about one thing - not killing any player in every match they enter.

On Reddit, user “Pilgore1” shared his journey of pacifism by providing a screenshot of his profile. At first glance, it looks like a normal COD profile until you realize that he's at Prestige 1 with zero elimination to his name. You'd have to wonder, after playing over 37 hours and 200 matches, how can he not have killed anyone despite the game’s nature?

"I just found doing it fun," said Pilgore1.

He explained his playstyle as sticking to objectives and destroying killstreaks. He did this by using weapons that counter flying killstreaks, and then, complementing them with perks that would hide him from the enemies' killstreaks and ones that would help him track down targets. The COD pacifist eventually ended his journey to Prestige with 102 wins and 83 losses.

There's no doubt in everyone's mind that the player loved COD to the extent of creating a record, which will test anyone's patience and that no one would have seen being made. Ultimately, he inspired other players to find new ways to enjoy the game while showcasing their individual skills.
