Ninja Kiwi starts the new year right with a big new patch for Bloons TD Battles 2, coming very soon. The company has revealed the new features that you can expect in Update 1.8, including the Banana Farmer and Bloon Bot.

One of the best features coming in Update 1.8 for Bloons TD Battles 2 is the new Banana Farmer. This thing can pick up all items that you would normally tap or mouse over to collect. The Banana Farmer has been a highly-requested feature and it is good that Ninja Kiwi is bringing it to the game in the upcoming patch.

Now, there are a few things that you need to keep in mind. First, the Banana Farmer is single-use, meaning that it only lasts until the end of the game or until you sell it. You have to summon another one in your next match.

Second, it can collect several types of items, including bananas, bloon traps, and supply crates, among others. And lastly, the Banana Farmer can be purchased at the in-game shop using Monkey Money. The first pack of five is yours for free.

Another new feature that you can expect in the upcoming patch is the Bloon Bot. This thing is a godsend, especially for BTD2 beginners. That’s because it will automatically send bloons to your opponent for income, allowing you to focus your attention on setting up defenses.

You can choose which type of bloon you want to send your opponent’s way and it will continue to do so until you run out of cash. Just like the Banana Farmer, the Bloon Bot is single-use and can be purchased from the in-game shop with Monkey Money.

Here are the other new and exciting features in Update 1.8:

New Map: Banana Depot
  • This new map is available in Ranked games from White Wasteland onwards and in Casual, Private and Event games.
  • Space is hard to come by in this busy depot. You’ll need to pay to send the trucks on their way if you want more space for your towers.
New Map: Bloon Bot Factory
  • This new map is available in Ranked games from Lead Dungeon onwards and in Casual, Private and Event games.
  • One of the large elevators descends into the depths of the factory every two rounds, temporarily removing all towers placed on it. You’ll need a backup defense to succeed on this map!
  • Keep an eye on the warning lights and sirens next to the elevators. They signal when one of the elevators is about to descend, giving you a few moments to react before your towers disappear.

Bloons TD Battles 2 Update 1.8 arrives very soon on Android, iOS, and PC.
