Bloodborne Remaster Coming to PC This Year via Port - Rumor

Bloodborne.
Bloodborne. FromSoftware

Bloodborne is one of the PlayStation-exclusive games that PC fans will kill for. Well, hold your horses, you may not have to kill anymore. According to a well-known leaker, a remaster of Bloodborne is in the works and will be released on PlayStation 5 and PC.

The Rumors

Twitter user SoulsHunt recently claimed that the remaster is ambitious and more than just 4K at 60 FPS (ray tracing maybe?). It is not, however, being developed by either Bluepoint or FromSoftware, as the latter developer wants to focus on its own IPs. The leaker further claimed that the PS5 version will release later this year and the PC version beyond that. What's not revealed is the estimated month of release for either version.

You can check out the tweets above. Do keep in mind that they are in French so you may have to use Google Translate.

Previous Rumors

This is not the first of rumors about the Bloodborne Remaster. A PC version was rumored back in December 2020 and another that suggested Bloodborne Remaster will come to PS5 and PC along with a PC port of Ghost of Tsushima, God of War, and Uncharted Collection. This time around, the rumors seem more reliable as SoulsHunt has been correct in the past. He accurately leaked Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin by Team Ninja.

More PC Ports

If the rumors are correct, then it will be the biggest title by Sony to arrive on PC. The company has already released Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone on PC. Uncharted 4 will also come to PC on an unspecified date. Plus, Sony has already said that they have a whole slate of PlayStation games making their way to PC. Hey Sony, how about Spider-Man (2018) PC port, huh?

Reception

Bloodborne was released on PlayStation 4 back in 2015. The game received critical acclaim from both fans and critics. Many considered the title to be one of the best games of all time. Unfortunately, a sequel was never made. Feel free to check out our review of the game here.
