Blizzard has revealed the list of upcoming micro-holidays for 2019. Micro-holidays are short in-game events that were introduced in Patch 7.1.5 of World of Warcraft: Legion. Unlike other in-game events in World of Warcraft, micro-holidays last between one to three days. In addition, these mini-events are not tied to any achievements.

For Blizzard, the goal of micro-holidays are to make the world feel more alive while ensuring that players dont' feel pressured to join in order to get big rewards. With this, Blizzard hopes to bring additional variety and fun.

Last month, players were treated to Call of the Scarab and the Kirin Tor Tavern Crawl. Just last week, WoW was witness to the Hatching of the Hippogryphs.

Overall there are still nine remaining micro-holidays to look forward to in 2019. From March 17 to 19, players can experience Ungoro Madness. During this period, dinosaurs will run amok in Un'Goro. Players who help stop the rampage get temporary evolution buffs.

There are two planned events in April, with the first one called March of the Tadpoles. During this time, the Winterfin murlocs will let their tadpoles run free on their village. Players can adopt their favorite tadpole, feed it, and more importantly, protect it from predators. The end of April sees Volunteer Guard Day, where players get the chance to step in the shoes of a guard from a major city.

May welcomes the Spring Balloon Festival, as several Azeroth characters give a hot air balloon tour of the region. Players can enjoy their commentary while also interacting with the other citizens of Azeroth. The Glowcap Festival also occurs in May, with players collecting rare mushrooms as part of the Glowcap Festival celebrations.

In June, there is the Thousand Boat Bash to give playes a chance to relax and be free from the dangers of the Burning Legion.

July should be a fun month, as an Auction House Dance Party is scheduled on July 22. The Stormwind and Orgrimmar auction houses will be cleaned and converted to dance parties. The end of July marks the second Kirin Tor Tavern Crawl.

Rounding out the year is the Moonkin Festival, which is held in Moonglade.
