Blizzard Entertainment is offering two new Allied Races in its upcoming 8.1.5 Patch for World of Warcraft: Battle of Azeroth. However, unlike what other games do, Blizzard isn't simply giving the new races away. Players need to finish quests in order to have access.

The first race are the Kul Tiran Humans: fearless explorers who searched for adventure sailing in uncharted waters. Classes for this race include Druid, Hunter, Mage, Monk, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, and Warrior.

The Kul Tiran Humans have five racial traits. The first one is called "Brush It Off" and it increases versatility while also healing a portion of damage taken. "Child of the Sea" allows the character to breath longer when underwater, and enables faster swimming. "Haymaker" smashes opponents and stuns them while also knocking them back. "Jack of All Trades" increases skill in all professions. Finally, there is "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" which offers resistance to damage from Frost and Nature sources.

To unlock this race, players need to complete three activities. The first is to reach Exalted with Proudmoore Admiralty. Second is earning the "A Nation United" achievement. In order to do this, players need to complete the Kul Tiras storyline. The last is to get the "Tides of Vengeance" achievement, which is earned by completing the Tides of Vengeance War Campaign.

The second race available is the Zanadalari Troll, fierce warriors that ride on the backs of dinosaurs. Classes for this race include Druid, Hunter, Mage, Monk, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, and Warrior.

Racial Traits for the Zanadalari Troll include "City of Gold" which allows players to discover more gold from creatures. Next is "Embrace of the Loa," which beseeches a loa and grants players one of six powerful boons. Third is "Pterrordax Swoop" which enables players to summons a pterrodax to reduce your falling speed. Finally the fourth is "Regeneratin’", which allow players to heal fast over a short period of time.

To unlock this race, players need to reach Exalted with the Zandalari Empire. Players also need to complete the Zandalar Forever! campaign and the Tides of Vengeance War Campaign.

For both Kul Tiran and Zandalari Troll, levelling the race from 20 to 110 allows you to earn a cosmetic Heritage Armor. New mounts can be unlocked as well with Zandalari Direhorn for the Zandalari Troll and Kul Tiran Charger for the human.
